Flip Your Mindset™
Having spent over four decades overcoming childhood adversities and helping others with my post-traumatic wisdom, I decided to change careers and pursue my purpose at the age of 49.
I became a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach and Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner, and soon after, I launched Flip That Sh!t™, a podcast that serves as a no-cost entry point for those looking to resolve their own traumas.
Through Flip That Sh!t™, my goal is to help listeners transform their perspectives and see their lives through a new lens. As a foul-mouthed, unapologetic Buddhist enthusiast, I'm not afraid to use colorful language to express my emotions, but I draw the line at any derogatory or dehumanizing language. Join me and let's explore new ways to overcome life's challenges and emerge stronger and more resilient than ever before.
Thank you for listening.

INSIDE OUT 2 Review: My perspective as Trauma Recovery Coach #InsideOut2
In this episode, I'm diving deep into the latest Pixar movie, "Inside Out 2," and offering my unique perspective as a trauma recovery coach. This movie beautifully illustrates the complexities of adolescence and the myriad emotions that come with it, from anxiety to embarrassment and ennui.
Join me as I break down how "Inside Out 2" portrays the journey of its main character, Riley, as she navigates the turbulent waters of puberty. I'll discuss how the film's depiction of emotions aligns with my work in parts therapy, a therapeutic approach that recognizes and integrates the different 'parts' of ourselves that emerge in response to life’s challenges.
We'll explore:
- The introduction of new emotions in Riley's adolescence
- How core beliefs formed from lived experiences shape our sense of self
- The journey of reconnecting with our true self amidst the chaos of growing up
- I'll also share insights on how this movie can help us understand our own emotional landscapes and the importance of embracing all parts of ourselves, even those that seem uncomfortable or unproductive.
Don't miss out on this enlightening discussion! Make sure to like, comment, and subscribe for more content on healing and personal growth.
Let's embark on this journey together!
